The city of Agoura Hills will host the 2nd annual State of the City Address on Wednesday, October 30th at the Sheraton Agoura Hills Hotel. The Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce will co-host the event being held from 11:30 a.m to 1:30 p.m.
Highlights of the event are expected to come from Major Denis Weber as he discusses the accomplishments that have been made under his leadership during the past 12 months. A resident of the Old Agoura neighborhood and a long time horse owner, Mr. Weber will be sure to mention the acquisition of the former proposed school site in the Old Agoura area as well as other real estate developments throughout the city.
Set for groundbreaking next month is the Agoura Hills Recreation Center which will be built above city hall and designed for the teens and youth of the area. The city council is proud of their fiscally responsible approach to government and most would expect this to be a topic for the State of the City address as well.
Tickets are $45.00 per person prior to the event or $50.00 at the door. To purchase tickets go to www.conejochamber.org prior to Oct. 30th.
